Some self publishers inflate their prices, then offer customers a substantial discount. Others don’t publicly post their prices. Unethical publishers often charge hidden costs. We want to be very upfront and honest in our pricing with no hidden costs.
All publishing services include:
• 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 inch trim size
• custom-designed full-color cover design with a protective high gloss finish (UV coating)
• editing for spelling, grammar, punctuation, format
• ISBN number
• industry standard bar code (required for commercial sales)
• proof sheets (one for POD, two for traditional printing)
Books are shipped directly to your door from the printer. (Shipping is not included in prices below.)
Book length
To determine the number of pages your manuscript will be in print, take the word count and divide by 300.
Print on Demand
We can publish your book for as little of $1,799. This includes all the services listed above and fifteen (15) books. Additional books can be purchased at the following rate. We suggest you sell your books for two and a half your cost to include not only a profit, but to cover the 40 percent plus discount that book stores require. We’ve included suggested retail price in the chart below. (All prices, US dollars.)

Traditional printing

Printers contracts specify they can under-print or over-print 10 percent. (We have no control over this and if overestimated the balance is refunded)

$30 per page (These are changes you make after typesetting that are not the fault of the publisher)

B/W in text $30 per photo (covers scanning and positioning charges)
Color inserts into middle of the book $325 per page (two page minimum, no more than five photos per page)
Includes scanning photos by designer, positioning, film output, and printing
Special cover or binding treatments
6 x 8 1/2 trim size (paperback) — 0.10 to 0.50 per book (6 x 9 if in hardcover)
8 1/2 x 11 trim size (paperback) — 0.10 per book
Hardcover (cloth) binding — $3.50 per book
Matte finish — 0.09 per book
Spot lamination — 0.09 per book (only available with Matte finish)
Embossing — 0.25 per book, plus $275 for each die
Foil stamping — 0.30 per book
